Glenarden City — The Glenarden City Council received multiple operational updates at its Feb. 17 meeting, with briefings on a public-safety bond, traffic-calming projects, code enforcement, and city finances.
City Manager Brian M. Wood told the council that "the final bond bill has been signed off by both myself and the mayor" and that the bond package will go before the state public works board for final approval. He said the project includes roughly $2,000,000 of funding toward a larger public-safety building project and that staff received eight RFP submissions; a recommendation to council is expected next week.
