- Regency community bus event / suspension of policy EEB: Staff asked to authorize two wheelchair-lift buses to transport residents on Dec. 20 for a community holiday-lights tour. Because that use conflicted with policy EEB’s incidental-use restriction, the board voted to suspend EEB through the remainder of 2025 and authorize the buses for the event.
- Charter renewal extension: The board granted a 30-day extension to the 180-day renewal notice requirement for the community charter school (the charter planned an internal vote) so the school could collect additional staff and family surveys.
- Cell-phone policy: After receiving student input, the board adopted edits to the cell-phone policy that add a teacher-directed exception and deleted the older administrative regulation; board members asked for a summer follow-up review of impacts and enforcement.
- Consent agenda and routine items: The consent agenda passed without objection; the board also heard finance and audit updates (including a statewide audit delay tied to federal standards) and a personal-finance curriculum report. Several motions passed unanimously; board roll calls recorded assent for each listed motion.
