The amendments included a state-attorney fund pass-through (Perry lease reimbursement), two fire-fund grants (a pumper-truck grant and a ladder-truck grant) with listed amounts in the budget text, and an increase to the SHIP (local housing) program to cover hurricane-related emergency rehab expenses (an increase of $112,000 plus additional interest credited). The board moved to adopt the budget amendments; the chair announced the motion carried 5-0.
The consent agenda followed; no items were pulled for separate discussion. A motion by Commissioner Fleming, seconded by Commissioner Land, approved the consent agenda with a recorded 5-0 vote.
