The mayor and staff named expected board members or roles: a project manager or city-designated representative, a community and economic development staff person (Janelle), a downtown property or business owner (identified in the packet as Guadalupe Barbara), a representative from the foundation (Vin Garcia) and a representative from the local council of arts (Courtney Raymond).
Council asked whether there were questions or concerns; none were raised that blocked the appointment, and members thanked those who serve on the board.
The appointment will be on the agenda for the upcoming Monday meeting for formal acknowledgement and the term listed in the communication runs through July 22, 2030.
