In the president's report, the mayor encouraged veterans to attend Oak Lawn Hometown Middle School's annual veterans assembly on Nov. 8, 2024 at 10 a.m., saying the school typically hosts up to several hundred students and that U.S. Rep. Sean Casten is expected to attend as a guest speaker.
