Mayor opened the meeting and presented the consent agenda, which listed: approval of the Saint Linus 5K Turkey Trot (scheduled Nov. 2) and waiver of related village resource fees; appeals-board recommendations granting a side-yard variation for 9537 South Malvina Avenue and an impervious-lot variation at 5421 Foxwood Drive (ordinance 24-17-61); an ordinance amending Title 11 parking regulations (24-17-63); a resolution waiving competitive bidding and approving a proposal from Axon Enterprises for camera-sharing software (resolution 24-17-72); a memorandum of understanding between the village and the Chicago Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement strike force; and a resolution accepting grant funds from the U.S. Department of Justice Community Oriented Policing Services Technology and Equipment Program (resolution 24-17-74).
After a move and second, the board approved the consent agenda by roll call. "All items on the consent agenda are passed," the mayor said following the vote.
In the president's report the board separately considered and approved ordinance 24-17-64 to issue a new Class H-V liquor license to Castello Enterprises doing business as The Skillet House, at 10933 South Cicero Avenue. The motion passed on a roll-call vote.
The meeting also included routine procedural votes, and the board adjourned after completing business for the evening.
