Ferguson Township hired consultant MGT Impact Solutions to run manager recruitment

Assistant Township Manager told the Board of Supervisors that the board on Dec. 9 approved hiring MGT Impact Solutions to assist with recruitment for the township’s new full‑time manager.
“We did the board did approve the hiring of MGT Impact Solutions to assist with the recruitment for the new full time manager,” the assistant said. The assistant described the firm’s role as a multi‑phased approach to develop position qualifications, recruit and screen applicants and complete a successful hire.
The assistant said the position will be posted on the township website and through other channels intended to attract municipal manager candidates. This consultant engagement is taking place concurrently with the confirmation of Tom King as interim manager; staff said the search and posting will proceed as the interim appointment begins.
