The consent agenda listed a revision to the township’s workers’ compensation policy, a proposed interim manager appointment, an employment agreement for the incoming police chief and a server-room HVAC replacement pay application. The chair thanked Centrice for service through Jan. 6 and said the board looks forward to King’s leadership.
The transcript records differing attributions for who moved and seconded the motions. For the earlier approval of the Dec. 9 minutes the transcript notes “Miss Amari, so moved” and “Missus Leisel, second,” while the chair later stated the motion was by “Mister Patterson” with a second by “Miss Strickland.” Similarly, the chair later recorded the consent agenda motion as by Miss Strickland with a second by Miss Stevens though the contemporaneous virtual speakers identified themselves as "This is Lisa" (moving) and "This is Patty" (seconding). King’s confirmation takes effect Jan. 7, 2026; Centrice will serve through Jan. 6. The board did not provide additional details about King’s interim duties beyond affirming continuity and thanking staff for their work.
