The Daggett County Commission approved a purchase request to Delta McKenzie for three 3D archery targets and stands for the county shooting complex during the Feb. 13 meeting.
Unidentified Speaker (S6) presented the request on behalf of staff (Gary unavailable) and said the targets are expected to be delivered within a month. Staff noted there are only two main manufacturers for the targets, which supported a sole-source justification for purchasing directly from the manufacturer. Unidentified Speaker (S3) moved to approve the purchase request and the sole-source justification; Unidentified Speaker (S1) seconded. The commission approved the request by voice vote.
The purchase order is for $10,842.63 and staff noted tax-exempt status and a 20% discount available through the vendor; freight and sales tax were reported as not applicable. Delivery and procurement terms were discussed with staff assurance that purchasing and grant conditions would be coordinated with the county finance/procurement staff.
