The Milton City Council voted unanimously on Feb. 18 to approve its consent agenda and to adopt two final subdivision plats, city staff said.
Consent agenda: The council approved minutes from the Feb. 2 and Feb. 9 meetings and accepted several contracts and program agreements, including a web services sale agreement and addendum with Revise LLC for a new city website and content management system and annual maintenance (agenda item 26058). The council also approved program provider agreements with Ladrina Walton doing business as Drena Dances LLC (youth cheer, dance and hip‑hop fitness classes, item 26059) and Mighty Hands Foundation Inc. (self‑defense classes, item 26060). The consent agenda included approval of subdivision plats and revisions for 100 Doris Road (Land Lot 995), revising property lines between two parcels of 1.776 and 2.157 acres (total 3.933 acres; item 26061). The consent agenda passed after a motion from Council member Grama and a second from Council member Jan Jacobus.
Final plats: Under agenda item 26062, the council considered two final plats presented by Sandra DeWitt, land development administrator.
- Brook Hall: Located on Francis Road (Land Lots 617 & 680, District 2 Section 2), Brook Hall is a 10.2‑acre site proposed for seven single‑family lots (approximately one acre each) in AG‑1 zoning. The plan shows a detention pond and about 2.05 acres of open space; a mail kiosk and two parking spaces are located at the end of the cul‑de‑sac.
- Blakely Manor: Located on Freemanville Road (Land Lots 455 & 456, District 2 Section 2), Blakely Manor is a 50.08‑acre subdivision proposed for 36 single‑family lots ranging from about 1.0 to 2.93 acres. The developer enhanced an existing pond to serve as the first stormwater‑quality pond; the plan includes additional detention ponds (Pond B and Pond C), a second entrance for emergency access, internal mail kiosks, and parking.
Council member Jan Jacobus moved to approve item 26062; Council member Brian Dolan seconded. The council voted and the motion passed unanimously.
No public comment on the final plats was recorded and staff said the U.S. Postal Service determines whether a development uses a mail kiosk or individual mailboxes.
