Engineering staff recommended awarding the street milling and overlay project (bid 2026-03) to Asphalt Paving Materials Company, saying the low bid came in under the project estimate and covers work including 9th Street West paving and the Broadland Creek golf-course parking lot. "We recommend approval and awarding of the bid," staff said during the presentation. Commissioners asked about roadbed preparation on 9th Street; staff said the contractor will reshape and pack the road before paving.
