Band students who earned District 5 recognition were named and two qualifiers (Samantha Washak and Lana Holcomb) were announced as advancing to PMEA Regionals.
In staff recognitions, Paul Heladio and other employees were named staff members of the month across schools; principals and board members read tributes describing nominees' work with students and colleagues. The board urged community attendance at upcoming events, including the school musical.
