She added that adoption of the rules would allow subcommittees to begin meeting later that afternoon.
Senator Lieber moved that “the committee adopt the proposed rules dated 02/02/2026.” The chair asked if there were any objections; when none were raised the chair declared the motion passed. The transcript does not record a roll call or individual vote tallies.
