Nye County Licensing Board renews most licenses, holds one license inactive for nonpayment

The Nye County Licensing and Liquor Board reviewed annual license renewals and fee collections on July 2 and approved renewals for all paid, compliant licensees while leaving one license inactive due to nonpayment.
Licensing staff reported a mail delay had caused one previously unpaid license (Cormark International) to appear delinquent but that payment was received and that renewal is recommended. Another license, listed as the Bounty Hunter, had not paid for FY25, had not responded to calls or emails and showed no overnight activity at the licensed premises. The board voted to approve renewals for paid licenses and not to renew the Bounty Hunter license pending the licensee’s response; staff said certified notice would be sent and a notice posted on the establishment.
Separately, the board granted a 90‑day extension for a temporary retail liquor license for Champions Bar & Grill while restriping and a full fire inspection are completed. Staff reported restriping had been scheduled and that a final fire inspection would be required prior to opening.
The board also approved a package liquor license for IB Market in Pahrump after background checks recommended approval.
