Court grants expunction and nondisclosure for Brian Morrison after review despite DPS objection

On the record Morrison swore to the truth of his testimony and answered the court’s questions about prior charges. The court concluded that the amended petition and supporting materials satisfied statutory requirements and granted both the nondisclosure and expunction as requested, signing the amended order.
Judge Walker noted the filings and the amended petition specifically and signed the order granting relief. The court also advised Morrison to pursue employment and other re‑entry steps as appropriate; the judge said the ruling was “good” for Morrison’s record and wished him luck as the court signed the amended order.
