Chairman Robert Cristiano called the special meeting to order at 5:33 p.m. and said the session would be held via Zoom.
"All attendees not invited in the executive session will be placed in the waiting room until the executive session is completed," Cristiano said as the body prepared to move into closed session. Commissioners and staff confirmed attendance during roll call, and several staff members and legal counsel were invited to join the closed-door discussion.
A motion to enter executive session was made and seconded; the chair announced the commission entered executive session at 5:35 p.m. The motion invited Attorney Francis Tiodocio, Attorney McCoy, Assistant Administrator Alexandria Castro and professional engineer Dominic DeGanci into the closed session. The transcript records Commissioners joining and the stop of the public recording before the meeting moved to the private session.
The commission reconvened from executive session at 6:17 p.m. A motion to come out of executive session with the statement that "no votes or action taken" was made and seconded, and the meeting adjourned at 6:17 p.m. The transcript indicates no formal votes or policy actions were taken during the special meeting.
