Supervisor discussion focused on access and siting: board members urged rotating sessions across districts (for example Marysville and Olivehurst), noted transit and construction impacts near some sites, and asked staff to consider including the request in the county’s interim spending plan. In response, county staff said the board typically designates annual donations to local nonprofits and that TCCC, as a nonprofit, could receive funds through an agreement with the county.
Supervisor (speaker 12) moved to approve the $12,000 budget request; supervisors expressed support and discussed logistics for administration and potential alternative venues.
