Yuba County board reaffirms military equipment use policy, accepts 2024 report

The board opened the public hearing, received no public comment, and a supervisor moved and seconded to waive first reading and introduce the ordinance reaffirming the county code and the sheriff's policy and receive the annual report. The clerk conducted a roll-call vote with Supervisors Vasquez, House, Bradford and Messick voting yes; Supervisor Feuer was recorded as absent. The motion passed.
Mallory said copies of the policy and the report had been provided to the board and posted on the sheriff's website. No substantive questions or public challenges were raised during the hearing.
