County staff: Lakeside at Sutter Point could return to Planning Commission in coming months

County staff briefed the Sutter County Planning Commission that the Lakeside at Sutter Point development is progressing and may come before the commission in the next one to two meetings if staff and developer work concludes.
"Currently, the project is going to need a tentative map amendment, a rezone for a portion of an existing parcel and then also a development agreement amendment," Mr. Hay told commissioners, saying staff expects to present documents related to the project at the February meeting or, if not ready, the March meeting.
Hay said county staff are in regular meetings with project developers and will coordinate with county counsel and City of Yuba City staff as appropriate. He also noted County Assistant Director James Stevens and Ravenna were present at the meeting; no formal action or vote was taken on the Lakeside project during this session.
The update was informational: staff described ongoing intergovernmental coordination, potential changes (map amendment, rezone, development agreement amendment) and a plan to return to the commission with formal materials when they are ready.
