Administrators noted inflationary pressure and parity with neighboring districts; multiple board members underscored that breakfast remains free for all students and urged outreach to families about free and reduced-price programs.
Other consent items approved or moved forward included acceptance of a $125 donation of raffle prizes for National School Week (to Jessica Bridal, food services), enrollment of two foreign-exchange students (Italy and Germany) at Plum Senior High for 2026–27, the CARES of Western PA student services agreement for transition services (December–May 2026), and a Catapult Learning Title I grant amendment that carries over funding with no change in services. Board members voiced no substantive opposition and asked routine follow-up questions about program dates and reporting.
