Board approves Amendment No. 7 to JPA to join regional Community Choice Aggregation

The Sutter County Board of Supervisors approved Amendment No. 7 to the amended and restated joint exercise of powers agreement to participate in the pioneer Community Choice Aggregation program, county staff said.
County Administrative Officer Steve Smith told the board the CPUC had approved additions to the CCA and that the amendment establishes the county's participation and a voting member on the CCA board. He said the amendment covers Sutter County (excluding Yuba City and Live Oak, which will have separate agreements) and that the board had previously approved steps to join the CCA.
There was no public comment. Supervisor Baines moved and Supervisor Stevens seconded; the board recorded a unanimous roll-call vote approving the amendment and authorizing the chair to sign.
