The Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors approved several consent and departmental items, including a contract extension and multiple reappointments to local special-district boards.
Adam Filleponi, identified in the record as general-services director, told the board the Northbrook dam operator's contract price would increase by less than $2,000 per month and recommended extending the contract through Dec. 31, 2030. The board moved and approved the consent item during the Siskiyou Power Authority portion of the meeting.
Separately, the clerk presented 'appointments in lieu of election' and reappointment requests for several districts, including Sawyer's Bar (or Sawyers Bar) Water District, Hornbrook Fire Protection District, Butte Valley Fire and others; the board approved multiple reappointments by voice vote. One district, Callahan/Callahan Water (transcribed variably), had not responded and staff said they would reach out and likely bring an appointment at the first meeting in January.
These actions were recorded by voice vote with supervisors present approving the consent items and reappointments. The board did not attach conditions or amendments to the contract extension on the record at this meeting.
