SISKIYOU COUNTY — The Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors appointed Shelley Davis, the county’s director of public health and correctional health services, to a four-year term on the Partnership Health Plan of California board.
County Clerk introduced the opening for a four-year term ending Jan. 16, 2030, and said the clerk’s office received letters of interest from incumbent Jonathan Andress and from Shelley Davis. Speaker 4 moved to appoint Shelley Davis and the motion was seconded. In discussion, Davis said she works with Partnership Health Plan through CalAIM and MOUs with public-health departments and community behavioral-health services: “I already have an established relationship with them,” she said. The board recorded roll-call affirmatives and confirmed the appointment.
The transcript records concerns from another speaker about previous contract negotiations with Partnership Health Plan in which members of the public experienced interruptions in access to services; Davis acknowledged awareness of past contract negotiation issues but said the disagreement predated her tenure on boards.
