Board approves two appointments to regional councils and behavioral health board
Summary
The board approved Patricia McCarthy to a three-year term on the Far Northern Coordinating Council and Donald Forsyth to the Behavioral Health Services Board; both were confirmed by roll-call votes.
During the consent portion of the meeting, the Board of Supervisors approved two appointments.
The clerk introduced a vacancy on the Far Northern Coordinating Council for a three-year term ending Feb. 3, 2029; Patricia McCarthy was presented as the nominee. A motion to approve McCarthy's appointment was made, seconded and passed on a roll-call vote.
The board also filled a vacancy on the Siskiyou County Behavioral Health Services Board for a term ending Dec. 31, 2028, approving Donald Forsyth to the post. That appointment was moved, seconded and approved by roll-call as well.
Both appointments were processed as part of the consent calendar; votes were recorded in the meeting transcript.
