McHenry County honors Public Defender Mark Cook for 40 years of service

The committee acknowledged the county’s circuit judges and noted that Judge Fedir had not yet signed the proclamation; members said they would distribute certified copies once the judge’s signature was obtained.
The committee kept the recognition to the record and moved on to other business. No formal action beyond the reading and public thanks was required.
