Board OKs part‑time grant communications coordinator for Elizabethton High School

The Elizabethton Board of Education approved a request to hire a part‑time grant communications coordinator at Elizabethton High School, funded by X Q grant dollars, during its February meeting.

Director Van Huss and a district presenter described the role as a short‑term, part‑time position to "tell our own story" about the district's grant‑funded programs and to support public outreach. "This grant communications coordinator would be a position, again, part time with your approval that will allow us to put somebody in place that will help us advance that work," a district speaker said during discussion.
