Livingston County board approves series of three‑year labor agreements

Resolutions approved included tentative agreements between the Livingston County Courts and the Michigan Association of Public Employees, an agreement with the Police Officers Labor Council covering sheriff sergeants, an agreement for sheriff lieutenants, and agreements covering correction officers and field services represented groups. Roll‑call votes were recorded for each resolution and the board carried each adoption.
Commissioners expressed appreciation for negotiators and described the agreements as beneficial for employees and the county. The items were presented after the board completed a closed session on collective bargaining and were ratified in open session by roll call.
