Senators welcomed members of the Junior League State Public Affairs Committee (SPAC) and committee chair Heather M. Gaylord, who thanked the Senate for the recognition and described the group’s pillars of aid and protection for women and children, health care, education and equity.
The presiding officer called for objections; hearing none, the resolution was adopted by the Senate. Members of the Junior League and guests were recognized from the gallery.
