Dollar Bank donates $10,000 to Plum Borough SD’s Rachel’s Challenge; students honored

Caitlin Hapbob, the high school’s Rachel’s Challenge sponsor, described how the program encourages small acts of kindness that change school culture, citing the Mustang of the Month breakfasts and classroom displays. Student honoree Hannah Waldgen said the program helped shape day-to-day interactions: "True kindness does not require a spotlight," she said.
The gift and the recognitions were presented publicly at the start of the meeting; administrators invited honorees and donors for a group photo by the Plum Mustangs backdrop. The board and superintendent publicly thanked the foundation and Dollar Bank for the contribution.
