Council confirms a slate of board appointments, including airport and parks seats

Counselor Hall nominated Mac (Max) Parks to the Airport Board to fill the expiring term of Carrie Wright for a four‑year term beginning March 1, 2026, through Feb. 28, 2030; the nomination was approved by roll call. Kevin Anthus was appointed to the Wellness Initiative for the remainder of a term from March 1 through Sept. 30, 2026. Gary Underwood and Jamie Cobham Spear were appointed to the Parks & Recreation Board for four‑year terms beginning April 1, 2026, and Rand Stratton was reappointed to a full four‑year Parks & Recreation term.
Council members moved, seconded and approved each appointment by roll call. Presenters noted nominees’ community involvement and suitability for the roles.
