Finance chair Laura Tochenberg presented the bills: $157,329.16 from the general fund; $10,130.04 from the water fund; $44,267.94 from the sewer fund; $23,697.37 from the capital fund; and $37,380.77 from trust and agency funds, totaling $232,805.28. The council voted to pay the bills by voice vote.
On parks and recreation business, the council authorized Director of Recreation Andrew Rex to accept the single bid received for a pavilion at Church Street Park and award the contract to Ray Woodworks for $34,999; the motion carried.
The council also authorized the mayor to execute an intermunicipal bus operator service contract with Orange County, subject to final review by corporation counsel. Members approved a dam safety engineering contract with MHE Engineering, likewise subject to corporation counsel review.
