Commission approves consent item PB25-007 and routine minutes; evidence entered into record

The Jefferson County Planning and Zoning Commission approved a consent agenda item and completed routine business at its recent meeting.
The commission unanimously accepted three exhibits into the record: the Jefferson County master plan (Exhibit A), the Unified Development Order (Chapter 400 of the county code, Exhibit B) and the planning division staff reports (Exhibit C). The acceptance of evidence was moved and seconded and was accepted unanimously.
Under new business, Commissioner Sprawl moved to approve consent item PB25-007; Commissioner Ishmael seconded. The motion passed with six yes votes and one abstention and was recorded as "approved by a vote of 6 yes and 1 abstain." Commissioners then approved minutes from the Aug. 28, 2025 meeting unanimously.
Staff reminded commissioners that the next commission meeting is scheduled for Nov. 13 and said that November and December will have only one meeting each because of holidays. Staff asked commissioners to respond to efforts to confirm quorum prior to meetings.
