Jefferson County Council adopts a package of reappointments, emergency plan action and zoning/renaming ordinances
Summary

The Jefferson County Council approved a series of procedural and policy items in a single session.
On unanimous votes (7–0), the council adopted a set of resolutions confirming reappointments: Jonathan Sparks to the Planning and Zoning Commission (R25‑12105), Ted Ramsdell to the Port Authority (R25‑12106), Cara Pellerin to the Developmental Disability Advocates (R25‑12107), Andrew Sides as the sheriff's department representative to the Public Safety Commission (R25‑12108), and Clyde Pratt and David Keeley to the Jefferson County Public Sewer District Board of Trustees (R25‑12109 and R25‑12110). Public comment earlier had supported the Pratt and Keeley reappointments.
The council also introduced Bill 20‑512‑335, an ordinance to adopt the Jefferson County Emergency Operations Plan prepared by the Public Safety Commission, moved it to perfection and recorded appreciation for department leadership. That action passed on a unanimous procedural vote.
Later in the meeting the council perfected and finally passed two additional bills on final reading: Bill 25‑11320, approving a name change from Jefferson County Community Health Fund to Jefferson County Mental Health Fund; and Bill 25‑11322, approving a rezone and development plan (PB25‑12012) for Reserve at LaGuardia (Liguori) Bluffs in Council District 4. Both passed 7–0.
