Jefferson County proclaims Feb. 23, 2026 as Evan and Connor Bailey Day

Councilman Brown read a proclamation saying Evan Charles Bailey joined Scouts BSA with Troop 413 of Imperial, Missouri, earned 49 merit badges, served in leadership roles including senior patrol leader, and completed an Eagle Scout service project building a meditation area and Marian Grotto at Saint Pius X High School. The proclamation notes Evan earned the rank of Eagle Scout on 01/22/2026 and that the County proclaims 02/23/2026 as Evan Charles Bailey Day in Jefferson County.
A second proclamation honored Connor Douglas Bailey for similar service and leadership, noting his Eagle Scout service project—planning and constructing a Marion Grotto in the same meditation area at Saint Pius X High School—and stating he also earned the rank of Eagle Scout on 01/22/2026; the county likewise proclaimed 02/23/2026 as Connor Douglas Bailey Day.
Councilmembers congratulated both young men and invited applause; the proclamations cited family members and community support, and noted formal recognition at a court of honor to be held in spring 2026.
