Worth County schedules public hearing for Furr Avenue paving; state letting brings 410th project under estimate

He added the county does not intend to set detours on non-numbered routes and staff will coordinate staging with the materials supplier so traffic can be maintained in one direction while work proceeds.
Rich said the schedule is headed toward a late-March start for preparatory activities and that the paving work is scheduled for the coming construction season. He said he will bring the project documents to the board at the next meeting for formal approval.
No formal vote or funding change was recorded for these items during the meeting; staff indicated they will present bids and contract documents for approval at a future meeting.
