Committee staff told members that three bills originally scheduled for the Feb. 11 meeting were carried over to Monday for work sessions and public hearings. Staff listed items posted for Monday: the Blue Economy Task Force item, three bills moved from the current calendar, House Bill 4025 (which would change the effective period for certain residential utility rate increases) and House Bill 4102 (which would modify DEQ’s authority to enter agreements with regulated entities).
The committee also attempted to include a youth voice segment: a youth participant identified as Bryce Wilson could not join in time and staff and Zoe Serrano agreed to reschedule his comment for Feb. 16.
No votes were taken and the committee adjourned.
