Newly elected Lewisburg Area SD directors sworn in; board elects president and vice president

The Lewisburg Area School District board read a county certification of the Nov. 4, 2025 municipal election and administered oaths to newly elected school directors at its Dec. 1 meeting.

A county certification was read aloud by Speaker 7 listing Michael James, John Graham, Kristen Krause and Jamie Lyons as duly elected to four‑year terms; the certificate also listed holdover members and said the board’s composition would be updated as of Dec. 1, 2025.

Holdover board members then elected a temporary president to oversee oath administration; Speaker 8 nominated Dr. Aaron Jablonski for that role. After the oath and signatures, the board proceeded to elect board officers. Nominations for president produced a single nominee—Aaron—after motions to close nominations, and the secretary was directed to cast a ballot reflecting that choice. The board then confirmed the vice president by ballot, with Corey named as the nominee for vice president.
