Tina Ludwig, Northeast Ohio regional liaison for Ohio Auditor of State Keith Faber, presented the Auditor of State Award to Seven Hills on behalf of the auditor’s office, saying she was “here to celebrate a job well done.” Ludwig explained the award is given to entities that file financial reports on time and receive a clean audit report, and she said roughly 10% of the auditor’s clients qualify.
Ludwig noted the award reflects the work of city staff and processes that meet fiscal accountability standards and specifically recognized the city’s finance director, Aaron Frank, for his leadership. Mayor Biociata and council members accepted the award, thanked Ludwig for making the trip, and said they look forward to working with the auditor’s office on the 2025 audit.
The presentation included brief public recognition of department heads and staff. The ceremony was followed by photographs and short remarks of appreciation from council members.
