Minnesota Senate reassigns bills, adds co-authors and moves referrals during routine floor session

It doesn't go to education policy. It only goes to health and human services. They cover jurisdiction." The motion carried by voice vote.
Senator Fatai moved to withdraw Senate File 3629 from the Committee on Judiciary and Public Safety and re-refer it to the Committee on State and Local Government; the presiding officer confirmed it was the senator's bill and the motion prevailed.
The secretary read the introduction calendar and confirmed that bills listed for first reading were referred as indicated, including multiple files referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services. The record also shows that Senator Coonish moved to add Senator Hochschild as a co-author to Senate files 3593 and 3594; those co-author motions were reported to the chamber and entered into the record.
A separate calendar change removed Senate File 2809 from the day's calendar.
