Planning commission finds proposed CIP additions consistent with General Plan, clarifies two project deletions

The Murrieta Planning Commission on May 14 reviewed proposed additions to the Capital Improvement Plan for fiscal years 2025–2030 and voted 4-0 to find the additions consistent with the City’s General Plan 2035, forwarding that finding to City Council for a June 3 public hearing and adoption.
Jennifer Terry, the city’s finance manager, introduced the CIP item and said staff would present the proposed additions and an errata to the commission. RN (Aaron) Mendoza, financial analyst, told commissioners the presentation would cover five new projects and 12 annual maintenance projects contained in the packet and noted that the full CIP is available on the city website.
