Board approves multiple service agreements and accepts donations

The Sycamore Community City Board approved a series of agreements listed on the superintendent’s agenda and accepted district donations during its regular meeting.
Approvals recorded by roll call included agreements with Hamilton County Developmental Disability Services; Icron Corp (noted by staff as covered by a state 'job coach skills trainer' grant); New Path Child and Family Solutions; Schaeffer Education Solutions; Best Point Education and Behavioral Health; and LEARN 21. Each item was moved, seconded and approved in sequence as routine superintendent agenda items.
Separately, the board accepted more than $50,000 in donations from PTOs, athletic boosters and scholarship donors to support facility remodels, athletic projects and student scholarships; the board thanked PTOs and boosters for their support.
Where staff noted grant support (the job coach grant), they said the state grant covers the contract cost while allocations remain available. All listed agreements were approved by roll call at the meeting.
