House committee adopts Clayton exemption, advances Jeff Knight bill (HB 2774)

Representative Mackey moved an amendment ending in ".01h," explaining that it "would exempt the city of Clayton, Missouri, from the bill" and "allow Clayton to ban gas powered leaf blowers if they so choose." The committee adopted the amendment and rolled agreed language into a committee substitute.
After adopting the substitute, the committee voted by roll call to recommend the House committee substitute for House Bill 2774 "do pass." The clerk recorded 12 ayes and 0 nays. The chair announced that the committee had adopted the substitute and that the bill was voted "do pass."
