Paramount Chamber highlights membership services, business resources and education partnership donations

She described the chamber's business resource center as a 500-square-foot facility available to members for meetings and hybrid events, and emphasized the chamber's role in business planning, grants help, marketing and networking opportunities such as ribbon cuttings, mixers and an annual golf classic.
Millette highlighted the chamber's volunteer ambassadors and recurring programs including "Coffee at the Chamber," a monthly casual networking event run by ambassadors. She noted the chamber is part of the Gateway Chambers Alliance, which coordinates regional advocacy and reviews legislation that may affect local businesses.
John Tinklage, a past chamber president and Maracon Vinegar executive, described the Paramount Education Partnership (PEP) and urged donations to scholarship funds that support college-bound Paramount students. Tinklage cited an initial major donation years earlier and said cumulative PEP support totals about $280,000 to date.
Millette closed by encouraging attendance at upcoming chamber events (a Women in Business & Leadership Luncheon in April and a golf tournament in May) and thanked sponsors Air Products and Tripepi Smith for supporting the luncheon.
Next steps: the chamber invited businesses to use the resource center, participate in events, and contact chamber staff for help with business planning, grants and local advocacy.
