Royal Palm Beach outlines fall lineup: Rock & Fall Fest, concert series and Winterfest dates

Silvio Pierre Lewis, the Village’s Events and Facilities Manager, presented the Recreation Advisory Board with a packed fall and winter events schedule for Commons Park, saying, “Starting October 3, we’re gonna have our rock and fall event.”
The two-day Rock & Fall Fest will open Friday evening with tribute bands and run Saturday with family programming, including carnival rides, bounce houses, a costume contest, pumpkin carving and children’s shows. Lewis said the Friday concerts will run 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a first-band start at 6 p.m. and a second at 8 p.m., and that the Saturday schedule will feature family activities from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Lewis outlined recurring and specialty events through December: a series of 5K runs hosted by US Road Runners on multiple dates; a concert series kicking off Oct. 17; a Kid Cancer 5K on Oct. 25; a solstice concert Nov. 7; and Winterfest on Dec. 6, with a Taylor Swift tribute set to perform before fireworks. He also said the village plans Friday-night concerts the first and third Friday of each month.
The presentation included a tentative pickleball tournament for October that staff said is not yet finalized and multiple family-oriented activities such as photo sessions with Santa on Dec. 13 and Dec. 20 and several additional 5K runs through the end of the year.
Why it matters: The village’s schedule reflects efforts to expand weekend programming and family events at Commons Park, which staff and board members said have driven strong attendance at recent Friday-night concerts and other activities. The calendar provides residents with recurring recreational options and several community fundraising runs that involve local partners.
What’s next: Event staff asked board members to share the schedule with neighborhood contacts and the community; Lewis said finalized schedules and promotional materials will be circulated to the board and the public.
