Morris County commissioners approve routine minutes, communications, resolutions and payment of bills

The Morris County Board of Commissioners approved routine business Dec. 17, including the adoption of meeting minutes, approval of communications and adoption of the resolutions on the agenda.
The presiding official called for a motion to approve the 12/23/2025 work session, executive meeting and regular meeting minutes; the motion carried and the minutes were approved with one abstention recorded.
A separate motion approved two communications on the agenda.
The board then moved to approve resolutions on the consent calendar. The clerk conducted a roll call; the commissioners recorded affirmative votes and the resolutions were adopted. The board also approved a motion to pay county bills after a roll call that recorded affirmative votes from the commissioners present. No vote tallies by name were read aloud beyond the clerk's roll calls that registered the commissioners as voting yes.
The meeting proceeded to closing remarks and adjournment.
