Miss Hausman presented the district's new data dashboard to the Cuyahoga Falls Board of Education on July 10, describing it as "pulling in the data in a very, user friendly way." The dashboard combines state and district assessment results, displays test blueprints and standards‑level item distributions, and lets users query by school, grade, teacher and individual test administrations.
Hausman said the product includes equity and attendance views so administrators can see subgroup performance and chronic absenteeism categories without assembling separate spreadsheets. She noted the product grew from about 18 districts to roughly 73 and that the district will roll out the dashboard intentionally in the fall so teachers and administrators can use it as a classroom and planning tool.
Board members asked how far back the historical data goes (Hausman said the dashboard contains recent years, roughly from 2022 forward, and that state historic archives remain separately accessible) and whether the dashboard will be used to help identify "power standards" and pacing guides; Hausman confirmed the tool can support that analysis. She also described features for writing‑score diagnostics and said the state is moving toward automated scoring in writing assessments.
Next steps: The district will complete a summer upload and allow teachers access in the fall; administrators will be trained on querying and using the dashboard to inform standards‑based pacing and interventions.
