Farmington continues public hearing on commercial-vehicle zoning changes after residents raise screening, farm and enforcement concerns

"Commercial vehicle" in the draft is defined as “any vehicle or equipment regularly used to carry, deliver, handle, or move goods in the conduct of business, commerce, profession, trade, or recreation which exceeds a Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) class 2 vehicle, exceeds a gross vehicle weight rating of 10 pounds, has more than 2 axles, or has a commercial license plate,” Daigle said in his presentation (text excerpted from staff slides shown to the commission).
