The board moved and seconded to approve the superintendent’s report and associated consent items during the Feb. 18 meeting.
During roll call members recorded item-specific abstentions: one member said she was “abstaining from finance number 24” and voting yes on remaining items; another member recorded abstentions on finance items 6 and 24; another also abstained on finance item 24; and one member said she was “abstaining on personnel number 3” but voting yes on the rest. Several members verbally registered “yes” votes for the remainder of the agenda. The motion carried.
Earlier in the meeting the board also approved the minutes of the Feb. 4 meeting after a motion and second; the board voted those minutes into the record.
The record does not show the full numeric tally for each separate consent-item vote on the transcript provided, but the meeting minutes identify item‑specific abstentions recorded aloud during roll call and show the board proceeded with approval of the superintendent’s report and the consent agenda.
