Vice President Scott moved adoption of the resolution (an action item returned from the Jan. 20 workshop) and Commissioner Angel seconded. The transcript records Commissioners Angel, Hall, Hertz, Pepper, Scott and Masten voting yes and Commissioner Sweeney voting no. The clerk announced the tally as six yeas and one nay.
Commissioner Angel later requested that a workshop include discussion about reinstatement and accrual policy for returning employees; County Administrator Sippel agreed to place the item on the next workshop agenda. No executive session was requested for the evening and the court adjourned after routine closing remarks.
