Lebanon board appoints Michael Gliotti to fill vacancy; swears him in

The Lebanon City Schools Board on June 17 appointed Michael Gliotti to fill a board vacancy and administered the oath of office.
Following a call for nominations, a board member nominated Michael Gliotti and the board closed nominations. The board then took a roll call vote to appoint Gliotti; the motion carried. The board administered the oath of office and Gliotti addressed the meeting, thanking the board and describing himself as a Lebanon resident of 22 years, a father of two and a local business owner. He introduced family members in attendance — wife Mindy Gliotti, daughter Isabella (a Lebanon City Schools and Warren County Career Center graduate) and son Sal, an incoming freshman.
The presiding officer noted staff (Jessica Centers and others) will follow up to set up Gliotti’s board email and access. The board concluded the meeting with a motion to adjourn.
Separately during the meeting the superintendent recommended elevating two existing district directors — Brian Dalton (HR director) and Mark Greylor (curriculum and instruction director) — to assistant superintendent roles without increasing overall payroll; the board approved the personnel items by roll call.
